A New Earth Is Coming

The process of a spiritual awakening is messy, ugly, and difficult. You’ll know this to be true even if you’ve only just begun. Once you start to heal yourself, you can never go back. You must go through, mostly because you can never unsee your habit patterns, your untruths, your safety mechanisms. But through the healing, your soul awakens and evolves.
As difficult as it is on a personal level, it’s exponentially more difficult on a collective level. I believe the ugliness we see on the planet right now is Divine intervention, and a reminder of why we continue to fight, why we change, why we push forward. Ultimately, we all want a better future, but more of us have to be willing to awaken and keep moving forward. The chaos and challenges are forcing more and more people to awaken, to care about others, to visualize how much better we could be. The collective must reach critical mass for the awakening to take hold.
I also believe the awakening has to begin here in the U.S. because of our role in the world. We have been the worst offenders. Our true history, not the propagandized version, has always been one that disregarded one life for another. But we are also the ones who have enough freedom to be the change leaders. So although this movement is global, its driving force is the U.S.
What’s happening now is bigger than politics, bigger than any one issue, bigger than all of us. It’s not revolution, although that may be part of it, it’s EVOLUTION. We are birthing a New Earth, and it is very, very painful. But in the end, it will be something more beautiful than we can even imagine.
So what can you do to help the planetary awakening? First start with your own, and start small. Choose a simple and quick daily spiritual habit that brings your joy and helps you heal, like journaling and/or meditation. Then when you feel ready, start the conversation with close friends and family. Help them however you can, and then expand to your immediate community, and so on and so forth. You don’t have to be fully awakened to help others, you just have to be a little ahead of them on the path. The more people who are taking care of themselves and healing, the better. It seems simple, but I truly believe it makes a difference.
